Just curious, how do you pronounce SUUNTO?

is it SUN-toh, like the shiny happy thing in the sky?

SOON-toh like when I'd like to be diving?

or Syoon-toh as in Vacuum?

also, what language is that... norwegian?

Hrmmm....

I've always pronounced it "soon-toe"

I pronounce the "soon" as in "sooners" or... well, "soon."

I have a Finish friend and asked him the same question a few months ago. It's Soon-tow.

I heard the guys from SUunto HQ calling it Soon toe at DEMA, so I believe that is right. However, Ive always pronounced it SUN-TOE. I actually had someone come into the shop one time and pronounce it SUN NU TOE. That was funny...

I pronounce it "sun-toe"... as that's the way I've heard it most frequently said up here in Canada!! Of course.. this might just be the "Canadianized" version of the word... eh!!
Hee hee...
