went out on the Aristakat this week. viz at first stop 5-6 feet light silt to extreme silt 27-28 depth. 2nd dive 4-5 foot viz hardly any silt and lots of fish. 26-27ft depth. found 3 teeth on 2nd dive. before and after cleaning pics largest about 3 3/4"

My finds for today. Got one Meg which is just short of 3.5 inches, and another broken golden beach meg that would have been beautiful that's about 1.5". Also got a mako that's about 1.5 inches a decent tiger and a the only hemi I found today. I also found my first ear bone today. First dive is where I found everything. I started off Alhambra where vis was around 1.5 feet at 10:30, and then turned north finishing at the blocks. Other dive I tried going back out at the south end of the venice public beach. Vis was better up there most of the time hovering around 4-5 feet, but near the end it was getting fairly cloudy. Found a lot of things to look at but never found any good spots for teeth. I showed off my 3.5 incher to several people on the beach, finally got in my car and put my fingernail down to pop some dirt off and the whole top of the tooth broke off. What a bummer. Barely had applied any pressure too. Time for some super gluing.

Some Pics from the last few days. There are still plenty of teeth in the VENICE Boneyard... you just gotta look...lol... Some real quality teeth have been showing up on the boat this week.

Two days of diving (6 tanks)... 2 inch hemi (along with about 5 more), whale teeth/vert/tymp. bullas, mako, misc small stuff and a total of 26 full or partial megs (they are still out there!).... also, check out my "BIGGEST FIND EVER!!!!!" lol... spent about 400psi freeing it and getting it on the kayak. Doesn't work, but I am seeing a coffee table!

These are the finds from the 3 dives I did about a week ago. Silt is clearing up so new pockets of fossils are being found... found 2 megs right next to each other (in retrospect wish I would have spent more time on that spot).
