Oh.. Yea. Thanks for the visual Eric.

I've gotta go be sick now. :puke:

Damn.... my shutters were still closed.

Man, what a mess..

Why don't you ask for a "do-over"? Maybe you can apologise for ruffling the feathers and start over again? Mais oui, nes't pas?

Maybe we can have a DIR toga party???

I'm just tired of eating ****.

Tom

I hope you don't feel I was feeding it to you. I was just discussing other methods to deal with those feelings.

I guess I just didn't realize how serious people took themselves here. I got nothing against anybody's gear config. I started with a plastic hardpack , blue jeans and a horse collar (sometimes). I've got a jacket bc in my closet. and if I start caving I'll probably get some pseudo DIR stuff. and the only time with all this gear that I was in danger or afraid was when the peice of gear between my ears malfunctioned and I did something stupid.

so wear what you got keep it maintained and keep your eyes on the road

Things have been tense between the DIR and POS crowd lately...call it bad timing.

We can fight over something of substance later ;)

Welcome to the board!

Sir Alton of Bungee.... truly falshoods do not become you sir...
We are all men of the sea here and shall we dissemble?

You knew full well the very fact you now deny... and played upon it to elicit a response. Thought you we could so easily ignore your bungeed splendor that you must needs resort to such artiface?

Just for that, I want my robe dry cleaned...medium starch please. No wait, JJ said we are going to light starch on DIR robes now.

Seriously though, what if somebody belonging to this lemming DIR religion had said something like "I have untangled plenty of idiotic strokes that got entangled in their convoluted pony bottle setups." This stuff works both ways...you start it out derogatory and you get it back that way...we have been through this a hundred times lately.

GOOD POINT!!

I think I would have made the same points.

except that being a Stroke is not a religon that diver choose to follow, it generaly represents divers who do not measure up to said religion. so to say someone is a stroke emphisis that they are not as good as a DIR diver.

proving the attitude I was reffering to. do you realize that the word stroke was invented by the DIR community to describe non DIR divers.

now if he would have said
"I have untangled plenty of idiotic divers that got entangled in their convoluted pony bottle setups."

then there would have been no attack form any group and his point would have gotten across. the mistake was bringing DIR into it as that will bring on an unrentless attack of his caracture, even his web site,
