Oh yeah I checked out those valves before but was worried about parts and shipping to Canada was pricey. Does look very compact though.
Oh no Sorry for your loss. But I gotta ask, you had the tank hanging by the threads?+1 for DIN and a Pro-valve. But keep the insert and keep it mostly screwed in. It is easy to hang the valve in transport and turn it into a paper weight (ask me how I know)
Nope tank full, no 1st, banging around in trunk of a rental carOh no Sorry for your loss. But I gotta ask, you had the tank hanging by the threads?
Damn I'm tired thought you meant the tank was literally hanging lol. I already bought threaded dust caps so that should keep it protectedNope tank full, no 1st, banging around in trunk of a rental car
Diver's Den in Tobermory is one of the best equipped shops you'll ever deal with. I can assure you, filling DIN tanks is a non-issue. I won't say that most tanks up there are DIN, but certainly a very large percentage are, especially in the more "serious" divers (as opposed to the tourist divers that visit once a season).Locally thats not a problem but worries me if I went to Tobermory for example.
