Nope, this was my introduction to that particular malady; can't say that I enjoyed it. The bout of tonsillitis that I got as a chaser wasn't fun either (that one took IV antibiotics to kill off).
My best wishes to you that you never get it again.

Nasty one.Dunno about sweating, but I caught dengue fever on Koh Tao this February; dropped half a dozen kilos in as many days- can't say that I recommend it as a weight loss method, but it sure works.
Is there a portable pressure suit available? I take that as a joke.OK - I'm looking for one of those positive pressure bubble suits to wear while flying there - I have two 10.5 hr flights and the 90 minutes from Bangkok to Phuket, I might even sweat off this covid gut I have during the trip.
I appreciate the information you have given here, but lately your information on this and entry requirements into Thailand have turned more into not very helpful rants.Phuket Covid 19: Stuck in Sandbox quarantine: A tourist offers a list of suggestions
She is still being positive. Great on her.
Not too sure what would I do if I am in her position. Leave for home early or stick around until all clear?

In this case her home is not Germany anymore, she wants to make a new home. So 'returning home' is not an option.
She has an account in FB and could well be a side-car racer/passenger.
No wonder she has such a positive attitude.
Still, she must be careful when speaking during the interviews or blogging or Facebook sharing. Her wish 8s to be able to extend her visa from 60 to 90 days and perhaps further by getting an educational visa to learn Thai but then on a later interview, she said that since she's a digital nomad, she hopes that Thailand will follow through with providing some kind of working visa (as had been thrown about).
She ought to keep a low profile on her intention. The culture is not the same and never a good idea to play her card so early and openly. "Respect" is the KEY. Someone somewhere might interpret differently with her action/desire or whatnot.
