Yes, she has her own motorcycle (or did have). She plans to take some backcountry riding lessons once she's sprung from her quarantine.

Still, she must be careful when speaking during the interviews or blogging or Facebook sharing. Her wish is to be able to extend her visa from 60 to 90 days and perhaps further by getting an educational visa to learn Thai but then on a later interview, she said that since she's a digital nomad, she hopes that Thailand will follow through with providing some kind of working visa (as had been thrown about).
The digital nomad visa that has been talked about would be more high end, I doubt she would meet the requirements.

Hrmph.

For professionals interested in working from Thailand, which includes individuals who work remotely or employees of large companies that are close to retirement, they must have $40,000 per year in income with an educational background of a master's degree or higher or rights in intellectual property and have five years experience in research.

My income level would qualify quite easily, but being self-taught, I lack academic credentials, so I guess this route is not for me.

Lots of negativity in the comments to that article too.

We had people running down the streets here in hospital gowns too - it's funny but not funny
