aslo.. i don't wear a wetsuit hahahahahha !!!!
26C is cold? Please dont rub it in :) It sure must be nice go diving without wearing a wetsuit.

I was there in August and of all the days I picked to go to Anilao, a typhoon slammed on Luzon. I had no choice, but to cancel my trip. Maybe next year, I'll try to time it on one of your DORs...

so what hood are you using pao? my friend lent me his aquamundo hood to try it out on my dives tomorrow, he didn't buy me one yet, so that I can decide which one is suitable for me. For me naman I don't mind if it's not branded and such, as long as it does its job, it's foine!

lol . . chikka minute! NOPE nope, if you meant it THAT way . . . wish I had a "special friend" this xmas. . . gawsh. . . . sorry off topic . . . :D

If you find one with all these features, please let me know. BTW, the feature where it vents bubbles on top of the hood isnt really needed, if there's a perfect seal around your face.
ask jonix...

perfect hood :

retains 70% of your body heat
keeps you warm even on rashguard (*sic)
fits easily on head - no effort to put on and removed
doesn't constrict carotid arteries
vents bubbles on top
doesn't obstruct your hearing (underwater and topside while afloat)
doesn't pose any problems on mask skirt
drains water from earlobes quickly

*(sic) (from Latin sic for "thus") is a bracketed expression used to indicate that an unusual spelling, phrase, or any other preceding quoted material is intended to be read or printed exactly as shown (rather than being an error) and should not be corrected.
most hoods i've seen don't have vents... never tried one myself though...

but gordon's (twomixdiver to those who are not PPD regulars) got this hood in his shop that's got small vents covered in a metallic mesh... looks pretty cool too...

from what i hear a certain PPDer got one and is now the proud owner of 2 new dive items that have still to get wet...
