I bought a Tusa 1st and 2nd stage about 10 months ago, and I've only used it about 5times. I just bought a used drysuit, and when I hooked up my reg to my tank/suit to test the drysuit valves I noticed that after I take a breath, a small amount of air continues to flow after I exhale and take the reg out of my mouth. It slowly stops flowing after 3-4 seconds.

This 2nd stage has a knob that I can turn to make it easier to breath through. When it's all the way open, more air flows through when I'm not breathing. When it's shut, it performs like I described above.

Has anybody experienced anything like this? It's still under warranty, so I think I'll send it in unless someone can tell ME how to fix it (if it's something easy).

Thanks!

It sounds like the factory adjustment did not anticipate seating of the valve. Bring it to the shop and they can dial it back in. This is fairly common especially after rebuilds.

Not sure on your specific second stage, but usually when you adjust the knob all the way out it's normal to hear some air leak. If you can't adjust it back in to make it stop, the orifice may need a slight adjustment. Take it back.
