PADI tables finally going away?

I could go on... with a lot more Failure points, but I won't. In OW diving, your best and sometimes ONLY redundancy is your buddy. Choose wisely.

Of course if one dives solo as I often do redundancy is your buddy.

Reg failure? Happened to me solution free ascent
BCD failure solution? chuck weight belt.

While I do not agree with completely removing tables from the cirriculum, this is a post that I can definitely agree with. Sometimes though, this redundancy is NOT a person and their equipment.

I've never had a regulator fail! Or for that matter a suit, fins, mask, spg, or watch. I have had 3 computers fail on a single weekend trip!!!!
