PADI getting sued over Insurance Program

Attention Member and Insureds ...

Do not be surprised at the disinformation coming forth from some posts ... and unlike some others who claim to have had a problem in finding this PADI lawsuit ...

I had no problem in fnding the information on the PADI lawsuit. If you are a dues paying member/subscriber to a legal search engine, perhaps you ought to consider requesting a refund ???

5. IF this case had/has been settled "out-of-court" - WHICH IS HAS NOT BEEN - then you would see PADI bragging and broadcasting all over the internet ...

6. You do NOT see PADI braggin or broadcasting all over the internet about this case because it has NOT been dismissed ...


Expect more of the same dribble and vitriol dis-information as your V&B Insurance renewal comes around !!!

Is there a new Bentley in Rick Lesser's driveway?

I have heard (unconfirmed) reports of a GoogleEarth sighting that there "may be" a Ferrari parked in the back of Lesser's house ... and (also unconfirmed) rumors that a Maserati is on it's way for delivery.

So far, no Bentley has been seen at Mr. Lesser's residence or office. So far.

With a case number, I was able to locate the court file using the court's PACER and CM/ECF systems. I have no idea why my name search turned up nothing.

Was the reference to "disinformation" and "dribble" in post #241 directed to my remark that I could not find the docket information?

I requested documents here and sent pms requesting them as well - haven't heard a thing back.

Someone seems intent on making a lot of noise regardless of whether there's anything really here.

I ran a query based on the case number give above on the Court's Pacer system (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). According to the docket report, various of the insurance defendants filed motions to dismiss in which they argued that the complaint did not state viable claims against them. Padi filed a motion to disqualify Richard Lesser and his firm. According to the docket report, the Court has not issued a ruling as yet.

IMHO, the Court has had the issues under submission for an unusually long time. However, there is no telling what that means.

At the risk of having someone accuse me of disseminating disinformation, I will opine that I was not impressed by the various arguments being made by the insurer defendants. I render no opinion on the Padi motion.

I *still* havent gotten the complaint, or anything else, emailed from the people who are promoting this issue.

I will believe the complaint to be bunk until I see evidence to the contrary.

I would point out that earlier Insurance impacted teaching status and now it does not...
