PADI DM Online?

Just wondering if anyone has any experiance with the online portion of the DM course? If I understand correctly you can only do the therory portion online but from what I hear that is a large portion. I only ask due to the fact that I am in Iraq and I am wondering how much more ahead of the game I would be if I did the online portion now and finished the rest when I get home. Is it worth my time or should I just wait till I get back?

I too am interested in advanced certifications and believe online is a great option. One can learn basically anything online that can be taught in a classroom so why not.

The padi online course is excelent if your self motivated and dont have the time/option to come to classroom lectures. You do the classroom part including quizes and knowlage reviews online. Then once your done all the chapters You come in where we go over it all and the final exam is given. It takes about the same time, just the elearner is on your own schedual I recomond finding the dive shop your going to do it through so if you do have any questions you have a reference to call for help. good luck!!

you also have to remeber the DM is class room, pool skills, pool assistance and openwater assistance so it really only eliminates one aspect. and it doesnt save you time it only makes it more convient
