Hey,
Instead of those special bags that squeeze the air out.....I use ziploc bags....I generally get the biggest size I can and the next size under.
Truthfully, I use them for everything when I travel, I use them for my toiletries, to organize the gazillion cords I seem to travel with to support my computer stuff, like I said...everything and with the soft stuff like undies....after I fill the bag I zip most of it closed and then squeeze the air out of the bag and close the rest of it....it really reduces the size and I don't stress about having enough of them, loosing it, storing it between trips, etc...
BTW, I always bring extra's of each size with me as well...they just come in handy.
