Mania, I'm surprised. I've seen this device discussed before, but nobody has felt that it worked very well, or that it was comfortable enough to use. There was a very long thread on the DIR Explorers board some time ago on the subject.

If I really get into cave diving, I may have to check into this further!

I have tried it and believe me it works OK. I'm not sure whether you can get it in States - I buy it in Germany.
All it requires is a bit of waxing (a bit more than you do for bikini)

So you use boys' p-valve connected to the Hollister? Or do you just use the Hollister bag and/or the bag with extra collection bag on your leg? (I guess I should go read the other thread first). Having urine bag hanging between my legs does not sound much more appealing than diapers - actually sounds exactly like having to add diapers because moving about could easily rip the bag (ouch) off when it is full... and that will definitely not result in slow-piddling that diapers require.

I'm guessing mania uses a p-valve. Having the Hollister hooked up to a leg bag wouldn't work very well. The pressure would cause reflux. But if you're so inclined to try it out with a leg bag before putting a hole in your suit, the bags strap around your leg. They aren't taped to it. The bags are also fairly heavy duty so chances of ripping are very small. In fact, I don't think I could even rip one of those bags with my hands if I tried.

Ok...I think I'd rather wear a diaper, then shave, glue, and pull off glue...those are very sensitive girly parts you are talking about molesting! They are suppossed to be treated sensitively...not cruelly! :no

Depends holds the urine in (according to my elderly grandmother) and you don't feel the wetness...just the lumpyness!
