After my Halcyon Eclipse has started to 'dissolve' on me.... I am considering replacing the wing with an Oxycheq Mach V (touted as being exceptionally tough and hard-wearing). But it comes at a hefty price tag.

Does anyone have any experience diving with the 30lb Mach V single-tank wing?

Pros? Cons? Durability? Construction quality? Buoyancy/trim?

Any advice would be great, before I make the purchase! :D

...well, I've bought 4 Oxycheq 'Extreme' wings..... 2 x 40lbs (one of which I gave to my dive buddy) plus a 57 lbs dual wing...and just ordered a 42 lbs dual wing yesterday (but it's on backorder)....sooo I guess I'm a fan of those wings!
I don't have any experience with the 30 lbs one.....I want wings with a bit more reserve capacity than that....but that's me.
I paid $ 315 U.S. each last fall for my 2 40lbs wings a while back @ Scubatoys.....which is pretty cheap actually.....however it appears Scubatoys has bumped up the price lately to full retail @ $450 U.S. on their WWW site. I just paid $ 550 for my backordered 42 lbs dual wing.
....I haven't found any faults with these wings so if you are OK with the price you won't regret it!

This is buy far one of my favorite peices of gear. The wing is fairly narrow which I think adds a ton of stability to the rig. I don't think you'll be dissapointed in your purchase.
