OW Cert question

I'm going to Puerto Vallarta soon and will be completing my OW certification dives while there. I've read a lot on this site about which places are cattle ops and which use smaller boats, but I also thought I read that if you are doing certification dives, you wouldn't be on one of those larger boats. That's my question. If I'm doing certification dives with my sister, will they still put us on the big boat with everyone else, or do they do it more private?

I guess my preference is to not be on that big *** boat, at least while I'm getting my cert dives done. Maybe after, if I decide to dive some more.

An excellent question to ask the dive operator/instructor down there.

You should really ask the dive op but it's not uncommon to have an instructor with some students mixed in with certified divers on a "big boat".
