It is setting up like the last one. They are calling for 12degrees here with 0 windchill. The last one that hit us like this was the big one that hit coz in mid january. Good luck. I didnt lose one day of diving in the ten days i was there. Even though everytime i turned around they were saying- The ports going to be closed. It opened late one day but we still got both dives in.

Brace yourselves; here comes another one.
 It did blow across the state quickly huh, and much of Dixie - but Florida is smirking behind their private High. We don't think we will above 30F here today. It looks like it'll arrive in Coz tomorrow.

Well, this map could change quickly with auto updates, but here it is...

The front arrived here in force about dawn. The high for the day today was at about 2AM. It's in the high 30's and blowing like a banshee out there right now (2PM) and the ice pellets are supposed to start falling in a couple of hours. I'm glad this sort of thing only happens a couple of times a year here; I honestly don't see how you Minnesotans get through a solid three or four months of this and worse. Of course, we have our runs of 100+ degree summer days, so there's that. :D

21F here, hoping for 26 maybe. Some people here don't own longjohns, and I pity them.

You own stock in Weatherunderground? :)
I like their maps sometimes, sometimes others.

I don't know, Windguru is showing decent winds (NNE to SSE) until Tuesday night and that is a long ways out. But it is really cold and windy right now in N. Texas

Next Wednesday is Triple-Star, with some big winds on the Guru. Sounds a little ugly. But if I read it correctly the wind will come across the island somewhat, so maybe not as a big a deal esp down south? Oh, Dave? How is my wind reading?

. Try Saskatchewan where the crap winter weather begins in late October and runs as late as early May. My cleaning lady was here today complaining she was frio. I was in shorts and a T and happy as a clam.

By "decent winds" I guess you mean favorable, not too strong?

I have to wonder how they can be so sure about weather 6 days in advance? Too much confidence in their Ouija board...?

Which is why Canadian wear fur hoodies and acquire a taste for blubber? My daughter spent a year up there as a kid during one of her mother's adventures - how, I'll never know.

Although I love sushi, but being smack dab in the middle of the prairies, never had blubber. I understand it is a taste acquired in the north (I.e Inuit peoples). Cabbage rolls and perogies are the local dish in Saskatchewan. I own a lot of fur everything. Coats mostly. But haven't worn them much since buying our winter home in Cozumel.
