Jeff... we are trying not to advertise that fact to the general public.

You going to join us at Keystone after the morning dive.

Got our butts kicked on Saturday. Did live boat. I am rethinking the timing. I am thinking of going in only 5 - 10 minutes before predicted slack. We were on the surface 30 minutes after predicted slack and only then did we see a change in direction.

We will be going every two weeks for a while.

We dropped down on the SW side of the Island at 11:12. In 20 minutes I burned 2500psi in my HP 100!!!! Up drafts followed by down drafts every 20 feet! At 11:40 we were in the lee of the Island. At 11:50 we tried to swim West because it looked like the current was turning. It turned for a whole 50 feet then we hit the main flow again still flooding. Back on the boat waiting for some solo divers to come up we checked out the current and time. Between 12:00 - 12:20 it looked slack on the surface. No rescue needed to be called this time
We will be going back on the 5th. I am thinking of going down at 8:50am.

I'm thinking that it might be prudent to watch the water and let it determine the timing.

Saturday the 5th looks good... are you taking the boat again? Got room?

I sold the Stroke to Rob. We may have room but I don't know if we are taking the boats because its so early in the morning. I hate early mornings. We also would then need to find a boat diver for each boat.

You guys are making me drool.... I was actually looking at the calendar to see how many extra days I would have to take off work (3 :D) to do that dive. But no - I have the Fire Dept PSD Ice diving class from the 4th-the 8th.

Ah well... I'll just impatiently wait for the 19th...
