It was great meeting in person some of the people on Scubaboard. Hope to see you all out diving agian soon.

Seafrog:
To those who found my blasted weights and dropped them off at Deep Fathom I'm very grateful, Though, from what the ol Doc says, it'll be awhile before I dive again. yup, ruptured the ear drum. Still, I'm glad I had the chance to meet some of you today, I hope I can get wet with you guys again one of these days.

Thanks again!!

SeaFrog,

Sorry to hear about what happened to you. I was glad that the weights made it back to you. After we found them we put them in a safe place so we could get back with a lift bag to recover them. By the time we got back there somebody else had done the recovery. Stopped by Deep Fathom to let them know that we found then lost them, but they said the pouch made it back safely.

Anyway, speedy recovery and get wet soon.

Toby

Yes, thanks to all, especially Kalvyn for his patience with a true rookie. Nice to meet all there!

Hi Todd,

Sorry to hear about your ear, but I'm glad you did go to the doc. How long did he say you'd be off diving?

I really enjoyed meeting everyone, thanks Gratefuel Diver & Uncle Pug for coordinating the event. Thanks so much for the great picture--it's great for putting names with faces.

BTW, the diver listed as Scuba Scott (above) is actually 2DIVE4FUN--he was my buddy--Thanks Scott--I love the new fin trick!

Snow Bear, you are much tougher than me...I'm not saying that I got cold yesterday, but I will say that I am off shopping for new undergarments today... ;-)

Thanks everyone--looking forward to the next NWOB group dive.

Hope your back in the water soon Seafrog...

Thanks all for the concern guys, I was told it will be between a month and 3 months to fully heal. I'm going to see a specialist this coming week, I'll keep you posted as to what I know.
Note to all mares bc. users with the quick release weight system, do not put them in with the triggers pointing down. I'm not sure how, maybe my let hit it, but that's how I lost my weights. fortunately, jens didn't fall out till she was on the beach.

Once we got you properly weighted you did MUCH better. :) I'm glad you made it back home safely, you had quite the drive!

Thanks Ron and Bob for putting it together! It was great being able to put some faces with the names, and it was nice seeing some familiar faces as well.

I agree Bob, we need to make this a regular event.
