A.G. comes to mind. It does not matter whom he is teaching for, whether NAUI TECH, or GUE, or IANTD, or NACD, etc.
AG and JoeT would never align themselves with any agency that advocates deep air. :D

They have a different sense of humor down there in Texas. Things that sound funny down there are not funny further north. And vice versa.:eyebrow:

My favorite question to ask Texans in Texas (on business trips) is whether I sound like I am speaking really fast to them?

Or whether I sound like I have an accent to them?

They usually say, "Yah, real fast," or "Yah, from up north." [I am from Europe.]

Well, gosh darn, I am from Texas and I reckon that must make me a real slow thinker, but I do believe I finally understand what ur sayin' here! You're implying that there are jerk offs all over the world...even in Europe! I'll have to agree! :rofl3:

Man, have I had fun stirring up the uptight among you tonight!!! :D Unfortunately, it's late here and this slow thinkin' Texan has to get some sleep!

Safe diving to you all!! Even you fast talkin' Europeans! ;)

no he hasn't just yet, there are a lot of crazy places to dive at the local lake, so i should get some good training. I know he's also setting a helicopter some time this month in the lake, and i'm trying to wiggle my way in to helping him do it, but with my experience level i don't know if he'll help me.

On a side note, (kinda shocked nobody has popped off yet) i know i do not have tons of experience yet, and i want to take things slow, A-because it's my life, B-most time if you learn alot in a short period, you generally forget 80 percent. Plus i've got to fork out the money for equipment, and classes, and i'm just a broke cop.

oh and too the texans, I can't wait to see my sooners beat the brakes off the longhorns this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has always been a hard game for me to watch....on one side I am a native OKIE and proud of it....on the other side half my family are UT grads and I myself spent years with the UT System Police.....so just don't give the game much thought....easier on me--lol!!!

LOL! You just hijacked your own thread!!! :rofl3:

Thanks goodness there aren't too many UT and OU fans watching this thread...it could really get ugly then!!! :D

i'm still crying over last weekend, but this just means they'll be p155ed when they roll into the cotton bowl.

As a cop, you may get to train for search/recovery. It is the pinnacle of public service, and also of peacetime diving. Good luck in all your courses.
