Personally I'm a little wary of anything where they don't list the manufacturer...

Hi, has anybody used this first stage regulator? Any sucess on it or failure on it? I'm thinking of using this for my set of doubles.

Balanced Diaphragm DIN Regulator First Stage: Scuba Gear and Diving Equipment

Roy,
I have used this setup for about a year now on my doubles rig. I used it first as a singles rig to see how it breathed, then switched it to a tech rig. It breathes fine to 200 fsw. I coupled it with 2nd stages from TDL,(Pro Mate), and they will ship with your choice of hose length.
As for service, it is a Coltri Sub C9000, and you can get service kits from Laura for I think $10.00. But for the cost of the first stage, you could throw it away and buy a new one. If you have any more questions you can post it or PM me.

I have this regulator for my deco tank. It works like a champ and have never had any problems with it. In fact, if I start using more than one deco tank, I'll purchase another one.

For the reference, $10 kit doesn't include a HP seat anymore.
The complete annual kit is $35 now as I recall.

It's an excellent first stage at a very reasonable price. Buy one, use it for two years and then throw it away or reset the IP and use it for your car tires.

Well, I'm planning on using it for tech diving, would that be okay though? My LDS is offering a used MK25 first stage but I still get full repair coverage for $200 dollars.

It must be true that this first stage is a bang for the buck in a diaphragm stage deal...

However, MK25 and this diaphragm first stage are totally different 1st stages.....
