Opening Day at White Star and Important Information about April 2

Crap! Sorry to say I can't make it on the 2nd. I have a lot of family coming in on the that weekend and I have to get things prepared. I will be at Gilboa on the 1st, however. I thought I could do both, but my wife gave me "THE LOOK" and you married guys know what that means. I've never been in Whit Star and was looking forward to it, so I'll have to take a rain check. Have fun and dive safe.

We ask if you have dived a drysuit before when we rent one. We really like people to know how to use it before they try to hurt themselves with it.

If you catch me on the first and early morning on the second I will be able to fill tanks at the quarry if you need me too. I was down there today to get the compressors out of hibernation.

BTW. The visibility was amazing... you could see the blockhouse from the ladder without going into the water.

Oohhhh.... New toys! Very cool. I'll have a load of stuff along so we can work on whatever! Should be a good day to work out pre-season gear checks!

Absolutely Matt! I'm betting there will be a pretty big crowd from the GLWC and friends. No on can say we aren't supporting WhiteStar! Looks like opening day at Whitestar (or the day after) is starting to be a GLWC tradition!

I just can't pull this off as hard as I've tried to. I will be in Michigan next weekend and will be trying to get to the river. So tomorrow will be waterproofing my new tent as prep for the dive / camping season.
