The meaning of the markings are posted above. The two tanks on the outside do look bigger. Posting pictures of the markings will allow people to ID it for you.

The green/red vindicator wheel/handle on your valve is simply a feature for visual identification to see of the valve is open or closed. The wheel/handle on the new valve can be replaced with a vindicator wheel/handle for a few dollars.

The new tank does look thinner in the picture, but I measured the circumference and it seems to be the same, thank goodness!

Did you hook up your BCD to the tank to verify?

This. Vindicator replacement handwheels are relatively cheap and take just a minute or two to install. There are two requirements, though.

1. You need a notched screwdriver for the nut that holds the handwheel onto the valve stem. This tool is universal, and you should get one for your toolkit if you don't already have one.

2. You need to know what brand of valve is on your tank. Different valve brands have different-sized bonnet nuts (the thing that caps the valve's guts and that the valve stem comes through), and you need to match the Vindicator model (eight are available) to the valve brand.
