I believe so. I know my LDS rents and sells scubapro HP72s. They are made by another company...maybe faber.

Yeah, that's what I was asking about. I do know that you can still buy steel LP66's.

72's are great tanks. I know several people who have them rigged as doubles for shallower stuff.

Nice and small, good bouyancy characteristics and you can get away with overpumping them a bit.

I dive a set of double 2240 PSI 72's. I love them. I use them to practice doubles diving. Actually i personally prefer a set of doubles over a single tank, stability wise. Drawback is weight, doubles are heavy and i am not superman, not sure how i am going to do this with double 104's when i am ready to do the deeper stuff the proper way guess it's back to the gym for 'ol me

no tank is obsolete .any tank that is in hydro and will pass a proper vis is a good tank.
