Good idea Marcie.. I need more gear! LOL

Yes, Fool. I did.

I LOVE THE IDEA OF A SWAP MEET! Just a note, placing trebuchet before the words "children and old folks" in a post brings up bad memories! As for those post marketed eggs, bring them all! Biological warfare with the tubers! Swap meet on Saturday would be the best idea so everyone knows which day to focus on. I plan on majorly using the pavillion this year for Saturday! Banners ever whars! Question, Pete,... I thought you only had the Matta Ewes one year. If you still have them, BRING them! We'll make the newbies wear one! BWA HA HA HA!!!
I'll bring a Hehnway and we'll see who bites first!

:shakehead: :shakehead: :shakehead: :shakehead:

Can't wait. Halloween weekend just can't get here soon enough.
Thanks so much for the swap meet thing Marcy... Shelly has been taking inventory of my gear since she saw that post......Don't count on me bringing stuff for it, but she is still looking. lol
Anyway, looking forward to seeing all the regulars and irregulars, as well as meeting the nubies.

Okay back to the list...
MontanaFL & Scorpion2012 - Tortillas for breakfast, Ziploc freezer bags, 2-3 bags of chicken breasts
Jenny & Hermit Crab - S'mores fixins and other stuff..
NetDoc & MsElenaous - Matta Ewes, and fried chicken
Heath Sapp - 100 hamburgers, a possible wild (but hopefully dead) pig, Rum for Jen-ny and some Jack.
Do you need someone to bring the buns for the hamburgs?
Cardzard and Roxanne - A cooler full of water, diet and nondiet sodas, and juices for the kids. A large bag of charcoal, 1 lg pkg. of brats., 1 lg pkg. of hot dogs and buns and my famous baked beans. Then for brkft, 18ct eggs, precooked bacon, sausage and ham, and some asst veggies for the omlettes.

For those who always ask what to bring. Here are some ideas...
Eggs (We never seem to have enough.)
Items for the omlettes (additional meats, peppers, mushrooms, onions, salsa etc.)
Charcoal (selfstarting)
Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq sauce)
Sturdy paper plates (no styrofoam please)
Plastic silverware (we never seem to have enough of these either, especially forks)
Paper towels
Side dishes (potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, chips and dips/salsa, fruit salad, etc.)
Deserts (Oh please don"t forget the deserts!)
Pumpkins (for carving and don't forget a candle)
Tiki torches and fuel (for around the fire)
Trick or Treat candy (for the kids big and small.)

So just pick something to bring and add your name to the list.
Hope this helps! :D

hey, all - my mama had an idea.

what do you say to bringing all your dive closet stuff & a little cash and we have a swap meet? i have some decent regs, a jane suit, a small sausage...you know, stuff i've upgraded or decided i don't need and it's taking up space. *you* might have something *i* want.

any takers?
I'll look through our stuff and see what we can bring...
