Off the Beaten Path

Bill (Aeon on this board) and I are looking for some suggestions for a unique honeymoon trip in May. We want to go somewhere with warm water, great diving and is not your typical tourist resort. We have looking at Los Roques, Little Corn Island, etc. If you have been anywhere like this, we would love to hear from you - whether it was a good experience or a bad one so we know where to avoid. Well, congratulations on the honeymoon (and what preceeds it)!

There have been some not-so-glowing responses on this board re: Los Roques. I had hoped to go there at one time. I have heard good reports on the Columbian island San Andreas which you can fly to from San Jose, Costa Rica (to avoid going through Bogota). It is near the Corn islands off Nicaragua.
