KISS issued a notice about that years ago. The original securing device for the scrubber counterlung module was a 1" piece of velcro. It was found inadequate as these pictures demonstrate and they recommended a more secure arrangement using quicklinks.

Before or after that VR3 brick was obsolete? heh

Wait a damn minute here, that is tantamount to G#$D%&n slander :D; as that sure ain't me, I'm the photog o_O; after all, I was a hard core Mk15.5 supporter throughout my CCR career, only dabbling in a couple of other models just to see what I wasn't missing, but always quickly returning to the best. :stirpot:
