Yesterday I got O2 CCR from firefighters. It's German
( MEDI ???) typ495. Constant flow, back mounted..
Does anyone have any info about that unit.
What do you think about diving this units?
As I heard You can use Daeger under water

Diving equipment is only a very small part of products Dräger manufactures. Dräger Safety does a lot of firefighting equipment. Those products are different from SCUBA units. Dräger's O2CCRs are named LARs, these days mostly the LAR V. Don't dive firefighting equipment, be it rebreathers, full face mask or anything else.

Good info on the LAR V and a lot of other RBs is at
http://www.nobubblediving.com/teardown.htm
if you're intrested.

I wont dive unit as it is. I'll use some parts (botle, kiss valve..)
I can't find this RB anywhere on the net. It's not a Draeger.
Looks like it could be easily transformed in to dive unit.
It has constant flow regulator which can be easily adjusted, auto valve, when loungs colapse and manual ad valve. Everithing is made from aluminium and cromed brass. I have to make scrubber, becouse original is disposable.
