Not sure I saw a launch....A little sandy beach..with a nice rock formation to the left...near a town called "lanesville"?

Sorry the viz wasn't so good for you. :(

On a food note - Virgilios on Main St, Glostah makes great Italian sandwiches. The Causeway restaurant in Glostah has consistently long lines of people. I like their shrimp, or Peter's platter. Halibut Point St. park in Rockport has some nice big quarries, but is a long way to drag your tanks and such. If you ride a bike - Cape Ann is a great place to ride a road bike. Ipswich has gazillions of nice old homes and Essex the most antique shops per capita in the US. Plus, they have a small ship building museum there. If you get bored of the diving you can rent a Stand Up paddle board in Glostah and renting a Kayak is easy in Essex which has miles and miles of estuaries.

Just some recommendations based on doing something else fun when the viz stink so bad. Hopefully, I get up there soon myself.

Cheers,

X

Thanks X....Those Quarries are cool....You "might" be able to get in with a giant stride...good luck getting out!
