Anybody have information as to what temperatures are at depth (below 30 feet?) at Nubble these days? I'm at the point where I might consider diving wet for a while. If diving dry, would probably reduce undergarments.

Thanks in advance.

Hi David,

It's been a mild season and I haven't been seeing below 50 on shore dives north of Nubble for a good while. You are firmly in wetsuit season.

Pete

Thanks Pete. My last dive at Nubble was on 6/18 and I saw temps at 45' of 46 degrees. Previous week (6/10) we were still seeing 40-42 at 50+ feet.

I'll report what we see today.

Glad I stayed dry today. Although the air temps were in the 80s and 90s, we saw low water temperatures today. Dive summaries:

Dive 1: 46' 50 minutes 50 degrees
Dive 2: 63' 53 minutes 48 degrees

My 10 year old 7 mil wetsuit wouldn't have kept me warm (especially on the deeper dive).
