Love diving, and I frequently wonder why I didn't start earlier.

It's my therapy; nowhere else do I feel as present and in the moment as I do with a tank on my back and a reg in my mouth.

Nothing makes me happier than spending 30 minutes face to face with a jawfish and having sand spat in my face.

And nothing takes me out of that moment faster than most UW photographers.

Nothing makes me more annoyed than a yahoo with a GoPro terrorizing every marine species in their quest for a poor quality vacation photo.

And to all the so-called 'professional UW photographers:' if you cannot maintain depth and have to lay down on the coral head to get 'your shot,' you deserve all the crap from your fellow divers that you receive. All that fancy gear does not make you Poseidon's gift to diving; you are just a ****** diver.

    Signature

I would rather dive with a group of ADD addled teenagers than with most so-called 'UW professional photographers' or 'UW Influencers.' You're not Poseidon's gift to diving; you're a shite diver with more dollars than sense.
