Not meaning a brag, but I got 4th place yesterday. :) But seems everyone got better cause I tried it today and my score was low today (too disgraceful to tell you guys...).

But on a good note I finally cleaned my room! yay!

Just got back from my 2nd trip to Corregidor, the first trip was three years ago. Some things hadn't changed, the sound in Malinta tunnel is still awful, while some things had, like the paintball and the fact that taxis were waiting this time for fares. Last time, I had to walk out to Roxas to catch one.

I may have to do the weekend thing there before I leave.

I've heard they still do but both my tours were the day trip variety. The extra stuff is why I'd like to do an overnight.

You have info where the wrecks are? lets go dive it.

spent a lot of years going (early 90's) to and fro that island cuz of my dad's project. Restoration; actually more on the marble and paint jobs on the Pacific War Memorial and guns e.g. battery wearns, dissapearing guns etc.. I don't exactly remember the final epitaph on the tombstone in the memorial, however every time I read it it never fails to move me or make me pause for the men who died there.

Anyway, I've never actually dove there but they say, especially the folks in the island, that it is shark country. Never heard of any wrecks, but I imagine downed planes, amphibious troop carriers, infantry guns and PT boats may be in the depths.

personally nga i've always wondered why nobody has actually dived it... it's spitting distance from manila, even chartering a boat will not cost an arm and a leg... even w/o a dive op on the island renting ang bringing tanks to the island is not a major endeavor...

maybe the water's too deep?
