If you have extra money lying around, then by all means buy the cam. But I think you should get at least the AOW portion. Get more dives under your belt, get that trim down pat and then buy the cam later. Hang out and dive with the other PPDers. At least 3 of them have UW cam and just bum some pics from them. Just my opinion mind you.

However, if you can afford both, that's even better .

not only that, but I received my new dive comp today as well! What a great saturday - even if I didn't go diving.

Congrats on the cats. What you're plan with the kittens? Sell, give away, or keep? What comp did you get? Always great to get new dive toys, especially if you can dive with it in a reasonable amount of time (like maybe around wrecks in coron ).

it's not the lechon! it's that mcdonalds crap your new kababayans introduced here and are forcing us to eat during lunch breaks and on the road

i think pound for pound lechon comes out as being healthier than a big mac

aow course so by the time you've perfected your trim and buoyancy, you'll be able to take good pix

she's right you know... i still tend to get over-tasked when playing with a camera and i'm by no means an "expert" diver especially with trim and bouyancy

no guarantees that an AOW course will solve your problems (it didn't mine, practice did) but in many places the AOW card is the ticket to better and deeper and "more advanced" dives... kinda like doing your thesis - you know all the stuff and know enough to make a living, you just have to finish it to earn the "diploma" w/c is the ticket to many other places (like law school)

so ganito nalang - contact jai or pao, arrange for an AOW class, and send me your camera budget so i can get a housing for mine... i'll share the pictures with you promise!

thanks mid. Gonna keep the cats. Will keep the pesky mice at bay. No kiddin about the dive comp! Just in time . Too bad I don't have my 150' spool yet...it's sitting in canada and my bros are too lazy to get it sent!
