Welcome to SB! You really don't need to go far for food during Carnaval. Outdoor dining will be set up in both plazas during Carnaval week and the food served is very good and quite inexpensive. Be sure to try the barbacoa tacos in the plaza next to the Palacio Municipal -- it's goat or lamb (I forget which) and it's really tasty.
