Indeed, the opposite. Here is quote from Clearly: “guests requesting travel dates 90 days or less from their departure date CAN book for non-Saturday dates and can stay for a longer or shorter time than a week.” Emph. in original.

Oh! That makes a big difference!

If someone is booking at short notice they should expect to encounter some restrictions IMO.

I'm guessing that if the resort has plenty of availability they will be very willing to design a package to work with your requested dates - but if they have limited availability and are likely to sell out soon - then they will insist on "Full week only, Saturday to Saturday!"

I don't blame them, if they sell a short stay or a midweek package close to the arrival date, during a period of high-demand, then they will likely have to turn down other customers that are asking to stay for a full week during the popular days of Saturday to Saturday.

I read his response the opposite way - if you book in advance it’s Sat-Sat but if you book within 90 days of travel you can possibly book shorter and mid week stays, if available?

That's what I understood from your previous post, if they still have vacancies closer to the date, they are willing to waive the Sat-Sat restriction. You can't plan ahead and count on your reservation.

I'm not going to wait until the last minute hoping to get the dates I want and risk not being able to book elsewhere at that point.

Was curious about Cayman and recently saw this thread. Completely agree with you bc there is no way most people wait until 90 days out to book flights. It’s a shame they haven’t really polled their demo.
