This last Friday evening at 4:00 PM, I ate some really good food at PePe's Grill.

I am a big fan of La Morena. here are some pics for last Feb. Sher and I were the only ones in the place, but it was a bit early for dinner... the pictures of the courtyard don't really do it justice. When it is dark, the lights really make it look nice.

The pics say it all...thats the place I was thinking of. Weird...we were there with a group of people from Michigan. The group was weird too...that's why I fit in with them! lol!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions...cant wait to try them out.:biggrin3:

My first thought was: Guidos! We love that place. Great atmosphere, great food. If Christi says La Veranda is nice too, I'd consider eating there on our next trip. She is the unequaled Scubaboard resident restaurant guide for Cozumel.

La Cocay, Especias...

Especia's

Ate there this week. Upstairs of a small store. Excellent food and service.

Also for a regular meal try Camilo's...try the Camilo's seafood soup. Twice this week.
They know me as the moaner...it's that good.

Especias gets my vote.....we have had all the above and Adrian's place is just to die for. Amazing food, amazing host, beautiful little roof top restaurant....can NOT be beat.

And the crab rolls appetizer is heaven on earth.....please don't miss Especias. ;)

Especias is our favorite restaurant in Cozumel. Adrian is a fantastic host.

I suggested Guido's because I think it has a more romantic ambience. The OP did say it was a special anniversary dinner.
