I'm sure glad people who are doing Tech 1 and Tech 2 dives with the X are just "playing."

I shall now go sell my DSS rig, Salvo light, X scooter, DUI Flx50/50, and dry gloves--and I shall now go cut up all my various non-GUE certification cards--because every non-stroke inherently knows that all these things will kill you and are doing it wrong.

Play diving? Give me a ____ing break!

Lighten up, Francis.

RTodd:
Discussing scooter mount compass locations on an X-toy is about as meaningful in a DIR forum as discussing optimum hose stuffing techniques.

I dont see how you can equate an X-scooter with hose-stuffing techniques and thus both must be non-DIR. I gave a simple response to clarify someones statement and you want to turn it into a whole gavin/x-scooter debate.

Think about how many dives someone needs before they start use multiple scooters in caves. The vast majority of people will never scooter in a cave. In these cases weight and portability become much more of a factor for their daily use.

Am I the only one carrying a BIC lighter in my right hand? Duh! Backup light / diverse.
