:D :bump:

I hooked up my LM 10-21 on the two little D-rings on the back of my Nomad XT, and it's just above the tank rails.

I ran the 54" cord up under the left side of the wing and velcro'd it to rings where the wing tabs connect. It comes out the arm hole, then loops over my arm and into my hand. No crossing the primary long hose, it's totally out of the way of everything. Thoughts?

Second -- the butt-mounted can. I'm looking at the rig, and it seems like I just installed a 3" diameter "speed bump" on my butt. Not that I'm looking at doing any kind of restrictions any time soon, but is that the way it is supposed to be?

If you have a 54" cord on it, then clip it to the bottom of the rails and don't loop it around your arm. You have more than enough cord to do that. My cord is a little shorter and I'm a little taller than you and I have plenty of cord. I route the cord to the front of my rig, under my waist strap, under my chest strap, and along my arm to my hand, left side.

:hm: I'll give that a try . . . I think it will be bouncing against the back of my knees, though. :dontknow:

Assuming you have your can light on your butt, somewhere, where does one mount an argon bottle?

I'm thinking I'll need it for So Cal diving . . . .

Argon for SoCal? Not if you have a decent undergarment, or unless you're planning 2+ hour dives.

I would like to see an answer to the argon question, though ... come winter, I like using argon here in Puget Sound ...

:scorned:

I got chilled diving 1 hour in a 78 degree pool . . . . Xerotherms. I don't think they make enough undergarments to keep me warm. :(

Mount it similar to a top mounted stage. The bungees will have to be a little longer to stretch between the bar and d-ring, but it will sit very nicely between your torso and sidemount cylinder.

I'm going to need pictures - I went back over my videos and the setup isn't as clear as I'd hoped.

I finally bought some 80s to play with . . . . :)
