Is Whittier really part of SoCal?? Man I just can't figure this stuff out...

Whittier, Rose Hills, etc. Off the 605, true, but inland - so So Cal. 818, 626, etc. La Habra - there's a place that's freeway close to nowhere. Its So Cal, but its hinterlands to be sure.

El Segundo. Yeah - a bit fragrant. But it has the compensating virtue of being way too close to deathlot in Frys... Another place to be avoided except on weekday mornings before 11:00 AM.

WOW---I feel the Heat-- What I want to know is where in the Inland Empire is there "No Trafic"--- It must be somewhere in the Twilight Zone--- It takes me 50 minutes to travel 25 miles on the 91!

actually I use the new 210 freeway so I really dont have any traffic. twilight zone aka rancho cucamonga

We have a BestBuy out here with it's own little deathlot. Funny thing is my Friends father designed the parking lot, LOL. He claims that it was okay until they put more trees in to make it look pretty. Bad excuse if you ask me. :D

Okay, but living in Whittier might not provide the true LA experience that invariably leads to some degree of OC loathing...

Like I said in Geo 101, its your basic active loathe.

Whittier is cool. I had customers over there for awhile, and a GF that went to school out there for a bit. The whole Painter small town mainstreet thing was pretty neat. Lots of just huge trees. True giant treasures. Whittier is cool.
