ahh im not worried about the skirmishes it does make my day at work so much more interesting though, although the ninjas oooh those guys worry me, nothing good comes from ninjas, not sure how ninjas are involved in all of this but i read something about them in a post earlier, i will definately keep you guys posted as to when i will be there in town, and if you guys make it down before i move up give me a call and we can go dive my spots. i still dive with my instructor(cause i am working up to dive master certification) but he is a cool guy. and i probably shouldn't admit this but i have friends in the o - c. they grew up in seal beach went to los al, yup yup its true. but hey i won't be living there, I will be in el cajon and going to school in downtown.

I dont know if you can call Seal Beach Part of the OC-- I think it is in the LBZ---Long Beach Zone!

You will have to know the War Zones Better before Comming here! And Watch out for the Ninja's running around Temecula--- I think they are new to the War--- I dont know what they are trying to claim but watch yourself--- they are not far from where you are staying once you are here...

uh oh hmm i hope i didn't offend anyone by saying that seal beach was in the oh c zone when it belongs in the lb zone well at least i ahve a few months to uhm study up and learn my geography before i actually move and i am sure the nice guys here will keep me well posted with geography lessons.

ya'all ever realize you use a lot of numbers for streets, like the 909 and the 30this and 10that like us we like names like the pali hwy or likelike hwy or you know da one da kine li dat street eh. and oh yeah we like da kine uhm watchamacallem da kine descriptions like yeah we go by da green building you know if you stay heading into da kine its on the makai side eh, you know right before da bridge da one thats all lepo and stuff.

A little history:

The Secret Ninja Defense Team was created by the Joint Council of LoCal/SoCal Defense Chiefs. It is possibly located in the Temecula Area. However rumor places it out in the middle of nowhere, like Anza or Awaunga. It's true location is unknown, thats how the ninjas like it. The teams purpose was to turn the tide of the war against the OCal and once and for all absorb OCal and slit it into two equal parts. Each part going to LoCal and SoCal equally. That was plan. The OCal had created their own elite fighting force called L.O.S.E.R.S which stands for "Like Over Sensitive Erroneously Reactive Sissies". The LOSERS had also developed a new sonic based weapon called "Whining", The LOSERS used this to great effect and defeated a large portion of the LoCal/SoCal fighting force. As it stands, the fight continues except now there is a new weapon that LoCal/SoCal have developed. It's called Lake Elsinore and it involves using the fish die off that happens every year.

A few things:

1) There can never be too much OCal bashing. Just so you know.

2) Your Av reminds me of a cross between The Blue Raja and The Spleen. Not that that's a bad thing...

3) Temecula, huh? Did they ever, like, bring the Clorox back, or are you guys just sort of doomed to dingy clothes?

A mountain 'tween you and OCal is a very good thing. Fortunately, we have the South Bay and LB.

Congrats on the nino.

Ken,

I think maybe when I fly down soon I'll have to look you up for advanced geography lessons. I don't know where my loyalties will lie, but my drysuit is black, so I should be ready for super secret ninja warfare. All those highway #'s only seem to confirm the fact that I'm very confused. Anything south of Carmel is SoCal to me...

We have real bleach for those nice clean crisp looking clothes. We even have a $15 car wash and if your nice to them you might even get one of those fresh smelling dangly thingys to put in your car! Oh yeah life is sweet.
:D

No need to worry. you're safe from the Secret Ninja Defense Team. Only OCal need worry.
I wonder how Catalina Island stands in all this?

I think it's time to go visit one of those oohh so good dive spots in LoCal or SoCal. I need something to wash the ninjas out of my head. Hmmm maybe some Nitrox?

Simple: They have So Cal 310 area codes. OCal gets punked again.

Next question?

Okay, lets go dive. You drive to your dirty harbors and take a boat to some distant dive site so you dont have to dive in sand, and I'll drive to the beach where our reefs are in swimming distance from shore.
Who's reaching now? Your using city names and a freeway interchange to base your preference? What about the 5/10/110 interchange? What about the 405/101? Stinky? Try Hawthorne! Disney is it's own world and doesnt count in the scheme of things! Keep reaching yourself!

I sure did, moved from San Diego to Orange County. I used to live in Whittier, but couldnt stand L.A.
By the way, the OC Weekly is free! guess your not that bright in L.B. either kinda proves that L.B. is part of O.C. according to your argument :54:

Man, oh man, does Disney ever count...

To clarify, the thing that makes me skeptical about Long Beach is: the LA Weekly is hard to find and some places charge for it, while the OC Weekly is ubiquitous and free. Scary stuff.

And as for the diving, I guess PV doesn't count? Or Malibu? I would take a little hiking (and possibly rappelling) and boulder dodging in PV to dive some seriously pristine sites over the Disneyfied stairways and soft, sandy beaches of the OC.

Not that I don't like to dive in Laguna every now and again...

Hawthorne isn't as stinky as El Segundo, and I still like El Segundo better than COSTA MESA! Talk about a wasteland...

Is Whittier really part of SoCal?? Man I just can't figure this stuff out...
