My wife is also starting her open water on Monday. She is so excited.

Catherine,,, she is so cute....... I now you have a lot of fun with her. My baby is 6 months old and we sit and talk about pressure groups.. hahaha My wife just laughs at me..... Happy Mothers Day........ Clay

My wife gets major respect around here, but especially on Mother's Day.

She bore both of our children naturally, with no anesthesia. Both of the kids know that, but at ages 9 and 7, won't fully appreciate the fact until they're much older.

Her day began with coffee delivered in bed, followed by breakfast. Our daughter gave her a palm-tree picture frame, holding a photo of her and her brother on Hukilau Beach, Oahu, over the holidays. My son gave her a wooden back massager, complete with willing operator.

I outfitted her road bike with a new Ritchey lightweight handlebar set, Profile Aero Bars, and Specialized road stem. If you ride, you know.

Now she's off with a handful of other moms, terrorizing a casino. It's an annual tradition, and they all love it.

I can hardly wait for Father's Day...

Steve

ha ha - my mum just rang me!

the city hotel overlooking Sydney Harbour complete with champaign, dinner and breakfast was magnificiant. The concert at the Sydney Opera House was wonderful and had her swooning plus she was given a free CD of the young italian performer and the limo driver just dropped her at home in comfort and style.

whew... 364 days to come up with something for next year now!

Geez, all I did for my mom was to take her to brunch and pay for her to get her passport for an upcoming trip!

wow! thats fantastic... now when she plans her trip you have played a part of that!

but to be honest - you also gave her your time, and thats something i try to avoid with mine..... so whose mum is richer in life/received more? its taken me a long time to get to a place that my mum and i can be ok, but not much more than that.

i hope your mum had a great day Jcsgt!

Actually, the reason Mom got the passport is because I talked her into going with me to the Sea of Cortez in September. She's never been out of the country.

You have a great Mom's Day, too, Almighty!
