This is what Morrison should look like before being stirred up by divers this Saturday:

Nice I forget who on this board always says it but I believe the quote is "the best sprimgs in life are free".. :) Forgive me If I do not have the quote exact.. So is there a dive shop near by (other than Vortex) or will I need to make sure my tanks are full upon arrival?

Now I must say SeaYoda that is a very inviting picture. Hopefully it will look close to that. Excellent picture.

No dive shop. Can't have everything!

Sounds like a loser to me

Morrison can be quite clear, its just not always clear  Lately, more of than usual, its been beautiful. This was from a few weeks ago.

Won't need full tanks at Morrison. Whatever you have will work. VOrtex is 20 minutes up the road. $7 fill if not diving Vortex, depending on activity, it may take a while to get them filled. Probably cheaper and more convinent to rent a couple and bring them with you.

I hear a night dive calling my name , need to put on the computer and head out May hit Morrison tomorrow or Cypress. Anyone been to Cypress lately? Hows the water level, can a small boat make it up?

The Avatar pic was taken at Cypress in 99

Water levels look to be very low, probably lower than I've ever tried to bring my boat down... You'd have to walk the boat up the run, surely.

Glen - It'll be interested to hear your take on Morrison on one of its less than clear days  Read as swamp dive!

I agree, it will be interesing to dive it with less then ideal conditions. I am very spoiled having dove in Morrison with it being clear and diving the jetties/gulf with good visibility. It will probably be good experience to experience the swampy side of Morrison. But, I have to admit it has spoiled me the last three dives I have made there....it has been perfect.
