I was just about to post the subject. Its very exciting. Huge breakthroughs on the ability to keep white sharks alive in captivity. Not that I am excited about caging whaite sharks, but if the shark finning gets really bad out there, Then there is hope for the white sharks survival. Years of work is left, but its a great achievment non the less.

I doubt they'll try it again anytime soon, not in that tank anyway. That specimen got some serious snout damage.
 
This was a very interesting opportunity and it seems they have collected some very useful data. The article was also very interesting. I hope they continue to publish information about her wherabouts and habits while her electronic tag is still functioning.
