Ok guys and gals do any of you know about a quarry or a pit in Monroe that is open for diving. I have heard a few things but i dont know anyone who has been to it. Some help would be good...I dont really enjoy quarry diving that much but its a good place to go durring the winter.Good diving.

There is a quarry on the south side of Monroe that a dive shop is trying to set up for diving. I do not think it is open for diving yet. Last time I heard, the vis was about 3-5 feet.

The last time I was by there (August) it was still not open for diving.
The owner of our LDC lives there and knows the folks trying to open it but they are having problems (and that's as specific as he'd be).
Hopefully next year!
