MK5 DIN kit (10-105-030)

Hi,

I want to convert my MK5 from yoke to DIN. The usual universal din adapter doesn't fit on the old MK5s (details here). I believe the part that I need is the 10-105-030. I haven't been able to find the part on ebay and was wondering if anyone knew where I could source the part?

Since you've seen the old thread where this was discussed, you pretty much already know the options; look for a used MK5 that's already DIN or use awap's work-around. It does work well, he's living proof.

I have occasionally seen someone selling MK5 DIN fittings in large bundles of used parts, but it's usually pretty pricey.

I've never seen one (at any price!) on E Bay. If one ever turns up, be ready for a bidding war, saw a reference a while back prices were in the $ 150 range.
