Well, I didn't know peoples' phone numbers so I had to do it. Anyhow - we had some great dives with about 50' viz at the Metridium Field and about 25-30' viz along the wall. Really lovely, so if you can go - get down there! Hopefully Robin, Chris and/or Mike G will have some photos to post soon. I will have to wait to see if my camera is fried or not.

Why did you have to leave McAbee? That's great to hear about the conditions! I hope it holds out for tomorrow. How many people showed for the M&G?

You're camera flooded again?!?! I'm getting ready to change my O-Ring and I got new desiccants. I'll let you know how mine goes.

Macabee was pretty unfriendly for entries and exits. Looked good after that, bit it was a bit 'interesting' looking to get in and out. Yes, still camera issues. I think it ischiat time for a new case as that one is a little rusty in spots and buttons are not regrouping after being pressed/pushed. Cest la vie. I just hope that the camera is okay.

Sorry I couldn't make it, I was called at the last minute last night and asked to teach an Openwater class!

This is a fun class to teach, the students are a blast!!!
I am back in the pool with them all tomorrow to finish the confined water dives and then on to the ocean!

Great shots Mike! Did you make if for a 2nd dive in your wetsuit? I think you should have your instructor just do the drysuit course separate from the Nitrox class, so you can use that suit and be warm. You will love it!

I wish I could have been there today...it sounds like you had amazing conditions. I had a good time on my fieldtrip though.

Even though the predictions for this weekend were not so encouraging, I'm glad I went. We couldn't have asked for better conditions at the breakwater.

Yeah I went in with my wetsuit for the 2nd dive, that is where these pics came in... Sarah babied me the whole way through, she knows 2nd dives for me in a wetsuit are just plain not worth it if the sun is not in full bloom...

I didn't bother taking the camera out on the first dive and was mad when I saw the incredible viz, never have I seen it like that at Break Water!!!!

I will call my instructor and tell her that I just want to be trained for now on the drysuit because I'm diving way too much and it's winter time...

I swore to Devin and Robin before that I was done with the wetsuit and here I go putting it back on...

I'm curious is there suppose to be any extra play in DUI CLX 450 suits in the knees, legs, what I mean are small folds? Does it have to be as straight as a wetsuit?

Glad you guys had great conditions. I was planning on diving Lobos tomorrow with Michelle's group, but then at the last minute got tagged with being on call to transport kids. so it goes. Maybe next weekend.
