Wasn't an issue, we were using jukungs at macro sites and headed right back to resorts with dedicated camera rinse tanks. You'll need to check with Aquamarine re: larger boats they use. We generally try to avoid Sanur.

If you're worried about it, bring a soft cooler. Helps pad your gear in transit as well. If there's no rinse tank on board, use a bottle of fresh water and a clean cloth/towel to rinse + dry + cap your exposed optics. Maybe hit the controls with fresh water too. The last thing I'd do is leave a camera rig in a vibrating rinse tank while underway, worse yet with other cameras in there.

Yeah, it is a full day out so. I’ve resorted to a soft cooler bag previously when on boats w/o rinse tanks. It works, not optimal but if it’s what’s at hand… no problem. Cheers.

Not doing solo, I have a buddy 🙂
@Christian

Just so this doesn't get lost in translation, you and your buddy will not be able to dive your own profile, nor your own dive plan if you are in a group in Bali. It's not going to happen (as the law states).

Book your own guide - I've done this several times... it's the only reasonable way to dive how you want to dive.

BTW - good luck on getting the Molas in a frame without divers... if the Molas are there, other divers will be there as well :)
