Was wondering if a tank had corrosion in it and needed to be cleaned would that process be and how much would something like that cost.
What's the worst you have seen and what was done?

It's called a tumble, most hydro facilities are capable of doing it and it generally runs around $15-20 in my area. In fact, one of my cylinders should be back from a tumble today. I'll have to stop by my LDS. Thanks for the reminder!

Another way of internally cleaning a cylinder is by using a tank brush. Basically, it is a stainless steel brush that is powered by a drill motor and is run up and down inside the cylinder for about 5 minutes to remove light or "flash" rust. However, if a cylinder is oily or wet, it must be washed and dried before the brush becomes effective.

Just my $.02
