My moustach (sp?) makes my mask leak but I hate Vasaline what should I do?

Which beer goes best with Lobster?

UPDATE:
Opps, this post was supposed to be a reply to the thread about having a mens only area. Opps :)

1. Try to fit your mask as high as possible, just barely under your nose. Purge often, too.

2. For lobster, I like a Belgian white. The style nicely complements the delicate flavor of the meal. Try something like Witkap Pater for a nice treat.

Depending on where your mask seals on your upper lip, you may be able to get away with just trimming the very top part of your mustache (right under your nose). It's not too noticeable out of the water, and it really helped cut down on leakage for me. I tried it on a 96fsw dive - seemed to leak more than I would like until I started descending, but once I got 20 feet or so down, I don't remember it being a problem.

I did read somewhere not to try to shave it the day of the dive (razor burn).

Probably scared the kids first time seeing me without one, and I have 2 in college. So it has been part of me for a while.

There is IMHO only one beer made to enjoy with seafood, Spaten Maibock!!!

Shave it off. If not and it is permanently attached to your face as mine is then just get used to a little leak....

Benefits:
1. Mask wont fog, just swish the water around
2. Never have to worry about mask squeeze as you will be constatntly trying to get rid of the little water in your mask.
3. You will still have your moustache (Most important)

1) I cut mine close and got a mask with a purge valve - I don't even notice it any more (but I do use it to de-fog the mask)

2) Lager and Lime/Corona and Lime - I like the acid of the lime to cut through the butter that I dip the lobster in. I should try it with a Lambic but haven't found a place that serves both.

Unless you need your moe for work ie: porn star, airline pilot lose it they are so seventies :D :D

I always find that Lotza Beer goes well with any sea food.

I shave off the top 1/8 in or so and trim down the rest, that seems to work fine for me.

70's !!! mine has been there since the 70's, I don't see any reason to dump a old friend.

Amstel Light, taste great and less filling to steal an add.
