Mask strap snorkle holder

I got a new oceanic mask which I love because it seals and does not leak at all. The problem is the fancy strap that has a loop to hold the snorkle. I have the snorkle in there but the strap is so floppy that the snorkle keeps getting in my way when I am suiting up. Is there a different strap that would go on the mask easily?

You could always ditch the snorkel.

(You have your mask on while suiting up?)

Unless you require a snorkel for long surface swims I'd just ditch it.
