Worth their weight?

Will they break and fly off and kill my buddy and render me finless?

Will they provide me with years of easy donning and doffing my now-rubber-strapped pains in the doo-dads?

I've had mine out for two dives now.

I wasn't sure at first - I guess I focussed on them too much and thought they were digging into my achilles tendon and were forcing my foot deep into the fin.

Second time out I didn't even notice they were there. I just dove and didn't think about them at all.

But I did notice how easy they were to get on and off - especially in the surf on a beach dive.

The build quality looks good. I don't see how the spring could get damaged or come off the clips. It looks much sturdier than some of the DIY straps I've seen others wearing.

I'm sold on them. And I got a great deal off ebay.
